I'm usually not one to hate on the oh so very connected world we live in. Knowledge at our fingertips and information just bombarding us through various forms of communication. But stare at these maps long enough and you'll wish that there is more things to wonder about out there. Okay, no one knows everything about this world, the tsunami earlier in the year washed up some crazy looking creatures, but it's not that easy for one to dive to the depths of the ocean. But if you think about it, it's not that hard for someone to take a trip to the rainforest. Anyway what I'm trying to get at is, that when people were more ignorant about the world, maybe they dreamed more, and that's the feeling I get when I start staring at these beautifully crafted maps by Paula Scher. I know many of you are probably tired of me posting about the various events available to the New Yorkers, fortunately you get to see the images this time online. Maybe you guys can ask them to upload some higher res images?
